Nothing it was amazing
Honestly could not finde any way to improve this experience thank you

Classes where intensive, teachers where ambitious. The house of the institute had been closed and without heating for two weeks holidays, so there where really cold during the first week. Activities where suitable and interesting. There where no excursions to other cities, because of lack of participation. So I went by myself. Salamanca is a very beautiful, cosy and interesting city

I am a 65 year old New Zealander who has been taking weekend Spanish classes as a hobby for the last 2.5 years at the local high school. There are few opportunities to practice and speak Spanish to native speakers in New Zealand.

Some internet browsing told me that Salamanca was a good place to learn Spanish and I located Delibes on line.

At first I was anxious that I would be so much older than the other students and that I might feel out of place, but the Delibes staff were very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. The college is very well organised and they quickly graded me into a level of Spanish that suited where I was at. The teachers were challenging but also very nice. I also enjoyed my classmates who came from many different countries.

I particularly enjoyed the afternoon and evening activities programme that the school provided. These covered different aspects of Spanish culture, history, geography and comida.

I stayed in a homestay that I found myself. It was within 15 minutes walk from Delibes Colegio. Salamanca is a great place to visit. It is very safe and you can walk everywhere. There are lots of interesting places to visit.

My only regret was that I only had two weeks. It would have been great to have more time to make more progress.

Die Schule ist einfach zu finden in Salamanca und hat eine Lage sehr zentral. Die Lehrer sind sehr freundlich und motiviert im Unterricht, was das lernen der Sprache erleichtert. Ich war in einer Klasse von ca. 9 Schüler die aus der ganzen Welt kamen um Spanisch zu lernen. Das war sehr interessant um neue Kulturen kennenzulernen und um viele neue internationale Freundschaften zu schließen. Die Aktivitäten unter der Woche waren nicht sehr abwechslungsreich gerade wenn man länger als eine Woche bleibt. Im Gegensatz zu den Aktivitäten am Wochenende die der Hammer waren. An dem einen Wochenende gings zum Reiten am anderen in eine Finka zum baden, Paella essen und zum Spiel mit einem jungen Stier.
