South African host-families are well known for their friendliness and hospitality. Your “host-family” could be a single woman, an older couple or a young couple with children. Either way, staying with a family will give you a unique insight into the South African lifestyle.

Your family will supply you with breakfast and dinner. Travel distance to the school is very short, with only a few families living as far as 45 minutes from the school. In the city centre, most host-families stay in apartments.

Each studio has an en-suite bathroom, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, a small bar fridge, and a tea and coffee station. It grants you independence but at the same time the opportunity to mix and socialise with other students. Guests have access to a large, fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes, and to a mini-gym.

This accommodation is within walking distance of various tourist highlights, as well as supermarkets, restaurants, banks and a bus and train station.
